Senior Account Executive / Publicity Manager

Newman Communications is currently seeking a media relations professional with a minimum of 5 years experience in publishing industry. Candidates should Have an established contacts base and B.A or B.S. in Communications or related field.

Candidates will be required to:

• Garner national and regional print and television media coverage for clients.
• Develop and implement highly effective and highly integrated consumer based publicity campaigns to generate awareness and achieve planned objectives of clients successful use of the.
• Produce compelling, well-targeted publicity material and campaigns which generate optimum coverage from the media.
• Create news stories and capitalize on relevant news items in the media to raise awareness of clients.
• Deliver all agreed publicity initiatives within agreed timelines to clients.
• Ensure that media coverage is regularly monitored and reported.
• Work with other team members within Newman Communications to optimize publicity strategies and campaigns.
• Be responsible for creating weekly client activity reports and media updates.
